The app stores your cryptocurrency portfolio information locally on your device, including:

- Quantity amounts you enter for each cryptocurrency
- Your preferred display currency setting
Important: This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Market Data
To display current cryptocurrency prices, the app fetches public market data from CoinGecko's public API. This data includes:
- Current cryptocurrency prices
- 24-hour price changes
- Currency conversion rates
2. How We Use Information
Portfolio Data Usage
Your locally stored portfolio data is used exclusively to:
- Display your cryptocurrency holdings and values
- Calculate total portfolio worth
- Generate portfolio distribution charts
- Remember your preferences between app sessions
Market Data Usage
Public market data from CoinGecko is used to:
- Display current cryptocurrency prices
- Show 24-hour price changes

3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage Only
All your portfolio data is stored locally on your Windows device using secure Windows data protection mechanisms. We do not operate any servers that store your personal information.

- Data is stored in your Windows user profile's local application data folder
- Data is protected by Windows User Account Control (UAC)
- Only you and applications you explicitly authorize can access this data
- Data is automatically backed up with Windows system backups (if enabled)
4. Third-Party Services
CoinGecko API
Crypto Portfolio uses CoinGecko's public API to fetch cryptocurrency market data. When the app requests price data:
- Only cryptocurrency identifiers are sent (e.g., "bitcoin", "ethereum")
- No personal information or portfolio details are transmitted
- Requests are made over secure HTTPS connections

Microsoft Store

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do NOT share, sell, or disclose any user data because we don't collect any personal data to begin with.
The app operates entirely offline for portfolio management, with the only external communication being anonymous requests to CoinGecko for public market data.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Data Control
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time
- Modify: You can change or update any portfolio information
- Delete: You can remove individual cryptocurrencies or clear all data
- Export: You can manually record your portfolio data if needed
Complete Data Removal
To completely remove all app data:
- Uninstall the app through Windows Settings > Apps
- This will remove all locally stored portfolio data
- No data remains on any external servers
7. Children's Privacy
Crypto Portfolio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information from users of any age, the app is safe for all users. However, cryptocurrency investment involves financial risk and may not be appropriate for children.
8. International Users
Crypto Portfolio is available worldwide through the Microsoft Store. Since all data processing occurs locally on your device and we don't collect personal information, there are no international data transfer concerns.

For users in the European Union, this app complies with GDPR by:
